Help out the Wingnut! Spread this around!
The Richmond Police Department is refusing to comply with the Wingnut Anarchist Collective’s Freedom of Information Act requests for certain documents. The Wingnut successfully received some documents, including training and protocol manuals, in January of 2011, but when RPD realized who they were releasing documents to, they halted their cooperation. Right now, the RPD has received a substantial monetary deposit from the Wingnut (as is apparently required for FOIA requests), but is refusing to divulge information that, legally, is required to be accessible to the public.
